The Origin Story
How it all began. Over 30 years ago Thomas C. Gibbs III attended a Pow Wow for the first time at the Keeper of the Plains Indian Center in Wichita, Kansas. At that Pow Wow he listened to stories from a medicine man who was the fifth generation descendant of Geronimo. That man told legends of ancient american mystical history. Stories about the origins of creatures like turtles, coyotes, and bison. Stories that explained why thunder and lighting chase each other like day and night. On that day he met “Glimmering Rainbow,” the man who introduced him to Bison. The man who prepared him for his mission to help restore America's largest living mammal to the prominence it deserves.
